Huge Obelisks fell in various cities.
They gave tremendous blessings to people but at the same time dominated the world in complete silence.
The world changed completely and even after a considerable amount of time, Obelisks do not allow people to go back to their normal life.
What sort of ordeal do the humans have to face? How did it liberate them?
Synopsis
The story is set in a small town called Konrin which has both the mountains and the sea, and it begins in 2001.
An amateur astronomer, Nozomu Nikaidō finds a meteorite in the mountain nearby.
One look of the meteorite brings an extreme feeling of happiness.
Once you look at it, you cannot get your eyes off it and all your thoughts stop.
This could indeed kill people as they sometimes freeze for a long time if they are not noticed by others.
After the shower of the meteorites, huge Obelisks came falling from the sky.
Obelisks are three hundred metres and they fell onto various cities all over the world.
They deprived people of their ability to think and people were mesmerized by the blessings they get.
Those areas where Obelisks are visible became uninhabitable and people in the cities became refugees.
This way, Obelisks dominated the world in complete silence.
They have the tendency to target highly populated places.
Understanding the tendency, humans start their humble living in smaller cities where population is controlled.
As time goes by, the Obelisks became objects of worship.
And in 2051, a new generation free from the influence of the Obelisks emerged…
